Principles
This website does not set cookies and does not store any data in the browser. No user profiles are created and no advertising networks are embedded. Personal data is processed only insofar as this is necessary for delivering the website, operating it securely and answering your enquiries.
Hosting and delivery
The website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Its representative in the European Union is Cloudflare Germany GmbH, c/o Design Offices München Atlas, Rosenheimer Straße 143C, 81671 Munich, Germany.
When the website is accessed, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data in server logs: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, volume of data transferred, referring source, browser type and operating system. This data serves to deliver the page, to secure the network and to defend against attacks. It is not combined with other data and is deleted by Cloudflare after a short period.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and fast operation of the website.
Cloudflare operates a global network. Processing in the USA is therefore possible. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The transfer is therefore based on the adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission apply (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Cloudflare.
Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we process the details you enter (name, email address, message) as well as the time of submission in order to answer your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry is aimed at concluding or initiating a contract. Otherwise, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in answering enquiries addressed to us.
Your details are deleted as soon as your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no further communication is to be expected, at the latest twelve months after the last contact. Insofar as a contractual relationship arises from the enquiry or statutory retention obligations exist, the periods provided for there apply.
Email delivery via Brevo
The message from the contact form is delivered to us via the email service Brevo. The provider is Brevo GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany. Brevo processes the form details on our behalf exclusively for the purpose of delivering the message to us. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Brevo. Processing takes place on servers in the European Union.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR, as described for the contact form.
Spam protection via Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect the contact form against automated input, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. named above. Turnstile checks on the basis of technical characteristics of the browser and the IP address whether the input originates from a human. No cookies for recognition are set and no user profiles are created. The check runs in the background and generally requires no input from you.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in protecting the form against misuse and spam. For the transfer to the USA, the statements made above regarding Cloudflare apply.
Audience measurement
To measure access to this website, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. named above. This service works without cookies and without storage in the browser, creates no user profiles and does not track visitors across multiple websites. Aggregated details such as pages accessed, referring source, country, browser type and loading times are recorded. It is not possible to draw conclusions about individual persons.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in evaluating the use of our website.
Fonts
The fonts used on this website are stored on our own web space and loaded from there. When the website is accessed, no connection is established to servers of font providers.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies, neither its own nor those of third parties. A cookie notice is therefore not required.
Your rights
You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to the personal data concerning you:
Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise your rights, a message to the postal or email address given above or via the contact form is sufficient.
Withdrawal
Insofar as processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). The lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:
